Biography
Ilan Levin is an award-winning Director of Photography with a deep love for moviemaking and storytelling whose work has been seen in festivals around the world, including Cannes and SXSW. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts, where he focused his studies on cinematography.
Ilan has further developed his skills by working on features, TV shows, commercials, documentaries, music videos, and shorts and is experienced in a variety of formats such as 35mm, 16mm, Alexa, RED, HD, and DSLR.
Among the numerous companies that have benefitted from his hard work, talent, and humor are Warner Bros., ABC, CBS, MTV, Yahoo!, VICE, Dell, Esquire Network, Hulu, Guthy Renker, Spike TV, Activision, PopSugar, HGTV, and Capcom. Additionally, Ilan speaks fluent Spanish and not-so-bad Mandarin Chinese and has traveled extensively around the world as a still photographer.
Ilan currently resides in Los Angeles.
